Patriot Program

We are thrilled to announce that the Patriot Program will officially kick off on Tuesday, September 17th—Constitution Day! This special initiative, which runs across all grade levels Pre-K through 5th, is designed to bring history, citizenship, and community pride to life for our Gators.

The Patriot Program is more than just lessons—it’s an adventure in learning what it truly means to be an engaged, responsible, and proud citizen. Each grade level will explore patriotic themes through hands-on activities in civics, history, geography, economics, the arts, music, media, and even physical education. Students will dive into age-appropriate projects that help them connect their learning to the world around them:

  • Pre-K & Kindergarten: Learning what it means to belong, make rules, and care for their communities.

  • 1st & 2nd Grades: Exploring symbols, leaders, and community roles that shape responsible citizenship.

  • 3rd Grade: Building an understanding of government, citizenship, and local history.

  • 4th Grade: Studying rights and responsibilities, the Declaration of Independence, and voices of freedom.

  • 5th Grade: Investigating perspectives, decisions, and leadership through history, service, and civic action.

From learning patriotic songs like The Star-Spangled Banner to creating artwork inspired by freedom, and even engaging in service projects that give back to our community, every student will have the chance to shine as a young citizen-leader.

Save the Date!
To celebrate all of this important learning, we will hold a Red, White, and Blue Day this spring—an exciting school-wide event where students and staff can show their patriotic spirit together!

We cannot wait to see our Gators grow as leaders and learners through this program. The Patriot Program is a reminder that when we learn about our past and practice good citizenship today, we are preparing to build a stronger tomorrow.
